  Welcome to ENCVD...

We strive to help...one  veteran at a time.  Formed in 2003 as a grass roots initiative, our mission is to support local veterans in eastern North Carolina.  We assist in helping veterans obtain records, get into the VA system, and provide assistance to homeless veterans throughout eastern North Carolina.

Our Supportive Efforts:

Our services are in coordination with Local, State, and Federal agencies as well as local and statewide civic and non-profit organizations.  ENCVDC is not endorsed, supported, or maintained by any Federal, State, or Local agency.  We rely solely on donations.

 We strive:

  • To promote awareness of Federal and State programs for veterans
  • To promote the awareness of homelessness in the veteran community
  • To build, support, and achieve transitional housing for homeless veterans in eastern N.C.
  • To help veterans support themselves in times of need.

These are some of our supportive efforts, but that's not all.  ENCVDC utilizes over 112 volunteer man-hours per week assisting veterans in various administrative ways.  Since our incorporation in mid 2003, we have helped hundreds of needy veterans.

Speakers Form :

Often we are asked to provide speakers for various civic, church, and non profit functions.  If you would  like to have a representative from Eastern North Carolina Veteran's Development Corporation speak at your event, please contact Speakers@encvd.com

A Message From Lynn Hughes :

We would like to thank each and every one for helping us deliver much needed aid and support to homeless and disadvantaged American Veterans through out eastern North Carolina.  Every dollar raised goes to support our efforts to serve these needy individuals.  Please help us help others.  Any financial contribution would be appreciated, and even the smallest donation can go a long way in helping a needy Vet.  Please make a check out to:
